hardening or exposed wires; the unit powers on. However, likely due to aged/degraded rubber
belts or drive wheels, the drive capstans and reels do not turn as the unit is cycled through
various functions; the reel spindles only twitch slightly. The crystal microphone therefore cannot
be tested although the amplifier makes an audible pop and likely works. The power light lights
up and you can hear the motor humming as the controls are cycled through various positions.
Case is complete although showing soiling and internal wear; the zipper remains functional.
