Paul P. E. Bennett was born at Edmonton, London in 1940, son of Ronald George B. Bennett (9 June 1914-1977) and his wife Mary Ann née O'Leary, who married at Edmonton in 1937.
Paul sometimes adds the additional name of O'Leary and is a painter in oil of minimalist landscapes of the scenery and the marshes that surrounds Blythburgh Church in Suffolk, but every now and again he takes a break from landscapes to paint copies of famous pictures.
He exhibits from his gallery next to the church, Fern Gallery, Church Lane, Blythburgh, Suffolk and exhibits annually in the church.
