DT Swiss 2.0mm/14g Pro Lock Squorx Pro Lock Aluminium Nipple & Washer set

The PHR washers are part of the DT Swiss system required to be used with PHR rims.

14g (2.0mm) Nipples overall length 15mm equivalent to 12mm standard nipples with the integrated 
DT Pro Lock® thread lock system.

The Squorx nipple (Square-Torx nipple), is a part of the PHR Pro Head Reinforcement System.

The PHR system increases the load-bearing surface of the nipples on the rim and reduces localised stresses. 
Peak loads are reduced allowing to build the rim lighter. 
The shape of the washer also acts as a ball joint and automatically aligns the specific DT Squorx Pro Head® ball head nipples with the spoke, further reducing the risk of spoke failure or rim cracking.

This dual purpose design allows for increased precision during wheel building at the factory and service due to the torx interface on top. 

Squorx nipples also feature a standard square faces for adjustment using a standard nipple tool.

The light Squorx aluminium nipple are suited for competition wheelsets and high profile rims. Because of its spherical contact it can align itself to the spoke angle.

DT Pro Lock® technology:
The patented locking system is based on a special pre-applied dual compound adhesive, which coats the nipple threads. As soon as the nipples are twisted, the dual compound adhesive starts to react and is completely hardened after 6 - 7 hours. If necessary, the wheel can be used immediately after assembling. The wheel can be completely re-trued several times, but the adhesive effect decreases with each re-truing.
