Flanged Nut


  • The material is grade 5 titanium, most widely used titanium alloy. It has excellent corrosion resistance to salt water, marine atmospheres and a variety of corrosive media temperatures below 300 ° C.
  • When using these nuts with another titanium fasteners, such as a bolt or stud, it is important to apply either an anti-seize grease such as molybdenum disulphide or copper ‘slip’ grease. 
  • Failure to apply anti-seize grease (on non-safety critical fixings) may cause the threads to gall on final torque of fastener and a seized/damaged thread.
  • For safety critical applications, do NOT apply anti-seize grease; apply a thread locking solution (e.g Loctite medium strength) on the threads before assembly.
  • Recommended maximum tightening torques:
  • M10 x 1.25 fastener ~ 38 Nm.
