Old Kutani Porcelain God of Wisdom and Longevity

Japanese Old Kutani-ware Jurojin Statue of “Venerable Teacher” in robe with staff and scroll, sometimes called God of Wisdom and Longevity.  The statue is 11-1/2” tall and is all in brown color.  See Kutani mark on bottom. The details from top to bottom are intricate and this antique statue is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or damage other than some age-related rub marks, see pictures.  Light marks in pictures are exaggerated due to flash.  This would be an unusual item to own!

Every effort has been made to ensure accurate descriptions.  The pictures should be considered as part of the item description.  Please review all pictures for overall condition and style and ask if you have any questions.
