Vintage ~NHL Stanley Cup~ Finals Official Game Hockey Puck .
from 1993 Finals. made by: ~ InGlas Co.
The 1993 Stanley Cup Finals was contested between the Los Angeles Kings and the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens won the series four games to one to win the team's 24th Stanley Cup. The year 1993 was the 100th anniversary of the first awarding of the Stanley Cup in 1893.
This Puck is part of a recently acquired Collection of Hershey Bears
Hockey memorabilia, from the personal estate of Scotty Alexander., longtime Trainer for the Hershey Bears.
William "Scotty" Alexander served as Trainer for the Bears from 1945 to 1973, and was one of the most colorful characters in Club history. A native of Toronto, Ontario, the late Alexander often as the team's practice Goalie and played one game in goal in an emergency situation in 1953, at the age of 45. Alexander also served as backup goaltender in 1940 with the old Baltinore Orioles of the Eastern League. Alexander's fame in Hershey is legendary. From Scotty Alexander puck night to a feature picture and article in the game day program, the former trainer is betterr known then many former players. To former Bear players ,he is mentioned in the same breath as Mike Nykoluk and Frank Mathers.
