This cable allows you to connect rear view cameras in Mazda cars with OEM MZD Connect multimedia system . The cable offers Plug&Play installation of aftermarket cameras without damaging the OEM wiring.

Image from the rear view camera will automatically be displayed on the screen when reversing. The device is connected to the 28 pin socket (marked red on the picture). After connection all OEM devices that work using this socket will not be disturbed and will continue to work as they did prior to the connection.

Note! Power of the additional rear view camera should be taken from the ACC line (first key turn), otherwise the camera input will not be active. Depending on the type of camera (more specifically, on the voltage required for work) +6 V output voltage of the monitor may be used. If the camera requires more than +6 V it should be connected to the ACC line.

*Camera will most probably have to be powered up directly from the ACC line as the head unit does not output the required +6 V.

Note! Only cameras in NTSC format are supported.
