I was recently lucky enough to buy the contents of artist James Deacon studio from Newcastle he was a very talented natural history water-colourist he specialised in painting animals and birds.

Painted in late nineteen seventies/early 1980s 

This very lifelike painting depicts a Longtail winter on a snowy background The painting is beautifully executed in very fine lifelike detail. 

The painting is a water colour and gouache. 

The painting is framed and mounted.
