AK-9 Dog Training Lead

Part of the AK-9 range, this quality training lead is designed for recall training your dogs and for letting them have more space and freedom to wander around and explore while staying firmly attached to the lead. This lead is available in three sizes: the shortest lead is 5m (16ft), the medium length lead is 10m (32ft), and the longest lead is 20m (65ft). This lead is perfect for letting your dog run around wide open spaces such as in fields, on beaches, or even in water.

The clip is designed to be quickly snapped onto your dog’s harness or collar so you can get to walking straight away. The nylon lead has a long strip of reflective tape weaved into it to provide high visibility when caught in bright light, keeping both you and your dog safe when you go out for your night time walks. The handle is soft, comfortable and thickly padded and is large enough to slip over your wrist if you prefer to hold onto the lead. Attached to the handle is a stainless steel accessory ring that allows you to easily attach a poo bag dispenser, a treat bag and other accessories or you could even connect it to a hands-free dog walking belt.

If your dog tends to dart off as soon as they’re in a big empty space or if your dog is a strong puller, then we strongly recommend that you attach the lead to a harness rather than a collar to prevent your dog from choking and hurting itself. DO NOT use this lead fully unravelled near roads, people, livestock, or in crowded areas. You can use the hook and loop material at the base of the handle to tie off the lead at different lengths so you can safely walk in crowded areas without worrying about causing a tripping hazard with the loose, hanging lead. • HEAVY DUTY SWIVEL CLIP – This lead features a thick and sturdy stainless steel snap on clip that is designed to withstand pulling pressure from your dog. The 360° swivel clip will prevent the lead from tangling around itself while your pet moves.
• NYLON LEAD WITH REFLECTIVE TAPE - The lead is made from firmly woven nylon for added strength. A strip of reflective tape is weaved into the lead to reflect bright lights. The lead (handle and clip included) comes in three sizes: 5m, 10m, and 20m.
• PADDED HANDLE WITH STAINLESS STEEL RING – The handle is soft and padded and features a stainless steel accessory ring. The handle is large enough to be either held by hand or looped around your wrist so you can hold onto the lead if you prefer.

• ADJUSTABLE LENGTH – At the base of the handle is a strip of hook and loop material that can be used to tie the lead off at different lengths to switch between a loose lead for open areas and a tight lead for when walking near roads or people.
