The Detroit Masonic Temple is the world's largest Masonic Temple, located in the Cass Corridor of Detroit, Michigan, at 500 Temple Street. The building contains a variety of public spaces including three theaters, three ballrooms and banquet halls, and a clear-span drill hall. The Detroit Masonic Temple was designed in the neo-gothic architectural style, using a great deal of limestone. The ritual building features 16 floors, stands 210 feet tall, with 1,037 rooms. The building was dedicated on Thanksgiving Day, 1926.
Colourpicture (1938-1969) Boston and Cambridge, MA: A major publisher and printer of linen view-cards of the United States. They later went on to publish photochromes and small spiral bound picture booklets under the name trade name Plastichrome in the 1950's.
Hiawatha Card Co. (1954-1969) Established with just a limited quantity of post cards, the company soon became well known in Michigan. In 1969, they sold the Hiawatha Card Company and became Penrod/Hiawatha.
