This set was from the estate of a collector who never read them. He just unpacked them, and set them on his shelves. The ribbons are all in place as when they were shipped. They have never been opened.
Several books have light wear to the gilt. The worst two are shown in the last two photos. All others are better. Most gilt edges are like new. All the leather is like new: no rubbing, to cracks, no wear whatsoever.
