Balfour Gland was awarded as an All Conference End and was also chosen on the All Southern California Jaycee First String Team. Balfour Gland is pictured in the 2nd row, far right wearing # 39. Photos 10 through 14 show the Student Index of all the students attend Los Angeles College this year.

The 1938 yearbook of the Los Angeles Junior College, Junior Campus. Located in East Hollywood, this campus was originally the home of the University of California Los Angeles-Southern Branch until they moved to their present location in Westwood in 1929. LAJC was later renamed Los Angeles City College in the 1950's.
