When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. 

From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!

 This is an antique/vintage oval  miniature Purple Shell Cameo stone.  

This measures approx. 8.5 mm x 6.5 mm (approx. 5/16" x 1/4"). 

Facing left.

Chipped but if you put it into a bezel, or slightly trim it , it should be fine.

This listing comes one piece per set.  

Each cameo is individually carved so there are slight  differences on each one.
