I was recently lucky enough to buy the contents of artist James Deacon studio from Newcastle he was a very talented natural history water-colourist he specialised in painting birds.

Painted in late 19 seventies/early 1980s 

This very lifelike painting depicts a hawfinch sitting on a Thorn bush or Maytree.

A painting is a water colour and gouache. 

The painting is framed and mounted.
