A John Rose Coalport cream jug of low Chelsea ewer form, with a moulded shanked body, painted in polychrome enamels with a rose and small floral sprigs, and with a garland of flowers and pink scale border to the inner rim, circa 1800. Unmarked.
Height 6.8 cm (2.68”) at spout.
Condition: good, with minor wear to the rim and some of the decoration, commensurate with age and use. Please note the area to the left of the handle where the faint outline of two tiny leaves was left unpainted.
