OMICRON® PTFE filters removes microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and un-dissolved solid particles/high particulate solution from non-aqueous or difficult to filter solutions. These are single use products, consist of a hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter sealed in PP(Polypropylene) housing. They have wide chemical compatibility and chemically inert, makes them better for filtering more aggressive solutions. For filtering aqueous solutions, PTFE requires pre-wet with alcohol to establish flow with reasonable pressure differentials.

OMICRON™ PTFE(Hydrophobic) Double Layered Syringe Filters
These filters are available with Hydrophobic PTFE Membrane in 0.45µm rating with GF pre-filer(1.0µm) for high retentive application or difficult to filter solution. The GF pre-filter protects the membrane filter from early clogging and increases total throughput.
