We are delighted to offer this intriguing raku sculptural vase, featuring rich hues and deep shadowing of matte chocolate, copper, red and orange; and brightened with a swath of rich blue glaze. Geometric shapes and elaborate carving details add to the intrigue of this piece. It would certainly make a statement as a centerpiece. We attribute this unsigned piece to American contemporary potter George Whitten. It measures approximately 16” high x 10” diameter. Gently used, there is a tiny blemish on the upper post. This is shown in the last photo.
