Antique Capodimonte Porcelain Hand Painted Trinket Box Lidded with an Ornate Scene of Cherubs. Made in Italy. This piece measures approximately 5 1/2" tall. The mouth of the dish measures approximately 3 1/2" x 4 7/8" in diameter. The bottom is numbered 848, stamped "Italy" and it bears the Capodimonte crown with N mark.
There is some wear to the gilded edges consistent with age and use. No chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of previous repair. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.
