Developing small oval-shaped leaves, this bushy shrub keeps it's foliage throughout the year, and is soon joined by an abundance of brightly-coloured white flowers, which last from spring until late summer.
Moist, well-drained soil is the type that many recommend to plant Azaleas in, ensuring it gets regular watering during Spring and Summer to make up for the rise in temperature. Any partially shaded area will see the japonica thrive in both colour and growth as time goes on.
