Original DKP-50 Personal Dosimeter for Detecting Radiation Exposure

This is an original DKP-50 personal dosimeter designed to measure accumulated ionizing radiation exposure.

When exposed to ionizing radiation, the gas inside the ionization chamber becomes ionized, causing the capacitor to gradually discharge. This results in the movement of the quartz fiber, indicating the accumulated radiation dose.

Measurement range: 0 to 50 R (Roentgen).
