They measure approximately 5.375 inches in diameter with a total weight of 10.3 Troy ounces. Each plate has a different design and a signature. They are all four are marked with “ Jungin “ which means pure silver on the underside. Even though the word “ sterling “ appears in my title, these plates are pure silver with no alloy. This particular mark was used during the Meiji Period from 1868 to 1912. Beautifully hand hammered surface with simple design on each plate.
