Lot Consists of (2) Two, Original, December 2nd 1970, Harness Racing Betting / Wagering Ticket Stubs from the Roosevelt Raceway, which was located in Westbury, L.I. New York from September 2, 1940 thru July 15th 1988. Stubs were for $2.00 bets place on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Races to "SHOW" that day. Roosevelt Raceway stood after closing as a flea market until it was demolished and the Roosevelt Field Mall was built. 
Each Light Blue with Deep Red Border ticket stub is approx. 3-3/16" high x 2" wide and is machine overprinted with race information in black ink. Tickets have been stored away from light since 1970. Tickets are in excellent condition with only light signs of handling on edges and corners. Great looking 51+ year old pieces of Horse Racing Memorabilia that display well.
