Each toy comes gift wrapped for your feline friends in a manner similar to the photo with the paw print ribbon. Ribbon and tissue paper may vary from photo.
Base and ball are super soft and fuzzy. Ball is on a sturdy spring that you push into the base.
Note: The spring may come with the tip covered in a small non-toxic product. This piece should not be removed. It is what makes a tighter fit for the spring in the base. The cats cannot get to it, and it is not visible once assembled. Every toy is inspected by me to ensure it is there at time of shipping. If you choose to remove it, your spring will not fit as tight in the base so your cats may be able to then remove the spring from the base during active playtime.
