You are purchasing a very nice Lincoln cent full roll (50 coins) dated 1939-S and all coins are "VERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE". The photo shows a representative roll from my stock. This photo shows a representation of my grading.  As with most all coins, details and definition of strike can vary.  VF will have full wheat lines on the reverse and cheek an jaw separation on the obverse.  XF will have a degree of sharpness above VF.

Do not compare these to average circulated rolls. These are all very nice coins. Start working on an upgraded roll set. As all collectors know, value is determined by scarcity and condition.
