These are new motorcycle chrome shock absorbers.  The free length from eye to eye is 12.25" which is 1/4" longer than the original stock shocks. The 1/4" additional length is insignificant.  They have chrome bodies with dual chrome springs. The lower spring is wound tighter than the upper spring which provides a progressive resistance. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions.   The spring adjuster tool is also provided.  The original shocks have rubber grommets which tend to split and crack. This set of shocks has all metal bushings which will not wear out. The proper metal bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. These shocks are ready to install as they are and require no further modification. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHOCKS.
