GOD AT GROUND ZERO is a story about the World Trade/Pentagon terrorist attacks as they relate to America's war on terrorism, war with Iraq, and past war in Vietnam.   The story was written as a stage play because the events that inspired it were clashes of powerful human drama that remain (and will remain) extensive and transformative in their effects upon the "performance" of daily life.  The story concerns the lives of fictitious characters (Americans – New Yorkers, military personnel, veterans, firefighters, travelers, Islamic terrorists) whose performance of daily life is transformed by the September 11th attacks, the ubiquity of terrorism, and the prospect of war.

The purpose in having published the play is to offer its story to a vast audience while at the same time allowing the reader to see the play's drama with the most profound audience of all – his/her own imagination.
