Item Description:

Attention Vintage Game Collectors!!!  Up for auction is a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) sealed copy of Namco Ms. Pac-Man.  I have taken several photos of the game and tried to capture all "issues" with the cellophane and box.  For the age, this is in excellent condition.  See pictures and decide for yourself.

Update 06Oct2021:  After this auction first ended, I received an email from another eBay member telling me this was not an authentically sealed game so I have updated the photos and have done some research.  First off, I purchased this game on eBay in 2004 and since that time its home has been a Rubbermaid 18-gallon tub.  So for 17 years, it has not seen the light of day.  Knowing that the typical h-seam is a fairly standard way to determine if a NES game is factory sealed vs. re-sealed and this game does not have an h-seam, I dug into the topic. 

There are many that say ALL NES games have an h-seam and if they do not, it is a re-seal.  However, after searching the topic on google, this is not accurate.  There are exceptions to this rule and Namco Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-man are 2 of those exceptions.  Refer to the links I have provided below.

With this information, choose for yourself and bid accordingly.  I know I have not re-sealed this game in 17 years and find it hard to believe that in the first 10 years (prior to me owning this game) someone removed the factory seal just to re-seal the game.  I say this as one would assume if you are removing the factory seal you would open the game box too (this box does not show signs of being opened...see photo 2) and the price of sealed "retro" games in 2004 were not what they are today so the seller had nothing to gain by re-sealing it (at that time I paid more for an opened Super Smash Bros. than I did for this sealed Ms. Pac-Man).
