The Heliopad Octagrip VL record weight is designed functionally and ergonomically, manufactured with precision in Europe and finished with a brilliant look.

The record weight is made of 6061-T6 certified aircraft grade Aluminum alloy, combination of Silicon-Copper-Magnesium and other metals with Aluminum.

Precision CNC machined in a factory where drilling heads for geological companies are manufactured.

8 finger tip shaped concave grip and ergonomically sized circular groove ensure the safe handling against accidental drop. The 422 gram weight complies with the most turntables regardless the drive. 88 mm maximum diameter is safe for automatic tonearm pick-up mechanisms. 7.28 mm center hole fits to every standard record player. Bottom surface is concave for optimal load on record as close as possible to the rim of the label recess. Height is 40 mm.

The weight is meticulously hand polished for brilliant look leaving the original circular pattern of CNC machining and then coated with thin silicone layer protecting against corrosion, but still providing a metallic touch. Due to its elaborated design, finger tip friendly grip and high luster it is one of a kind.

The record weight comes with a thick velvet pouch for safe storage.

Please note! With no automatic tonearm pick-up mechanism wide bodied cartridges may reach the record weight in the innermost groove in rare cases. So please check the clearance of your cartridge in the innermost groove before buying the Octagrip VL. (Headshells 12mm (1/2”) above the record have enough clearance due to the circular groove of the record weight.) With automatic and adjustable tonearm pick-up systems the Octagrip VL works flawlessly.
