Location dowels. Used for locating cylinder heads, cylinder barrels, crankcases, clutch covers, gearbox covers for cars, motorbikes and almost anything with a petrol engine.
Each dowel has a 15 degree lead in chamfer to allow much easier fitment.
Wall thickness is approximately 1mm.
16mm dowel has a 14.2mm bore - clearance for M14 bolt
15mm dowel has a 13.3mm bore
14mm dowel has a 12.20mm bore - clearance hole for M12 bolt.
12mm dowel has a 10.2mm bore - clearance hole for M10 bolt.
10mm dowel has a 8.2mm bore - clearance hole for M8 bolt.
8mm dowel has a 6.1mm bore - clearance hole for a M6 bolt.
