Maiogi Dance Fan
Design:
This fan made by one of Japan’s renown fan makers for students at the Wakayagi-Ryu dance school for practice and performance. It is a beautiful silvery-white with a stylized Kamon crest on each side. It has glossy amber lacqured bamboo struts. Excellent quality, this fan would be perfect for dance practice, performances or display.
Size:
It measures about 20” or 51cm from tip to tip when open and is a little over 11” or 29cm long when closed. Weight: 95g
Condition:
Vintage condition, structurally sound with some edge wear and bends in original storage box: see photos.
