Hinges can easily be repaired at a professional bookbinder. Near invisible previous owner's indent of pencil inscription completely erased on ownership page. All 12 color plates present. This is the very first printing of the first edition with all first edition points met; the letter "r" in morning on page 116 line 1 is not damaged, "Quiberon" is misspelled "Oniberon" on the frontispiece caption and pages 126 ~127 printed in order. Lacking only the scarce dust jacket. The eighth book by author Ruth Plumly Thompson  originally created by L. Frank Baum, this is the 22nd title in the Wizard of Oz series. Cover art and 12 color interior plates with numerous B&W illustrations by John R.
