Nickel Silver Tray

with Handles

You are looking at an antique Lawrence B Smith Co. nickel silver silver-plated tray with handles. The tray is in excellent condition with some surface scratches. I just polished the silver.

The back of the tray is marked "LBS Co 24 N S 1653" and has the image of a crown. 

The tray is 11 7/8" from the outer side of one handle to the outer side of the other handle. Not including the handles the tray is a 9 7/8" square. All the edge has an embossed swag design. In the middle of each side is an embossed Grecian urn design.

The Lawrence B Smith Co. (LBS Co.) was founded in Boston in 1887. The company was active through 1958.
