First edition German Smogon Koffing card 51/102 from the 1999 Base set. In very good un-played condition/near mint. No creases, tears.  The front of the card is really nice, the rear of the card shows just a bit of edge wear from storage. The last photo shows the bulk storage I am pulling cards from to sell. The photos of the card are the card I will ship, not stock photos. I am not a professional card grader, so please review all photos for condition of cards.

I was a single dad in 1999 and had shared custody of a 4 year old daughter who loved Pokemon.

We would go to Toys R Us and play in the Pokemon League on Saturdays when she was with me.

I bought quite a lot of Pokemon cards and deck building supplies.I bought cards by the case, and built decks for fun (most decks never played, I enjoyed the sorting and thought process behind deck building, and usually bought cases of cards AFTER the cards were no longer legal for league play, as the prices dropped considerably at that point).

This card was purchased new by me in about 2000, probably from a League event or sports card store, and never played. It came out of my extra card deck building supplies.

 It has been stored for 20 plus years in a Rubbermaid tote in my basement.

I still have lots of Pokemon items and play Pokemon Go. Occasionally my wife and I play a game of Pokemon using one of the 300 plus decks I built in the late 90s and early 2000s. I am selling some Pokemon items I no longer need or want so I can spend money on my other hobby, HO slot cars.

Shipping is based on shipping in a plain white envelope WITH TRACKING with card inside a sleeve in a top loader (semi-rigid or rigid, depends on what I have in stock on the day I ship). I may use a penny sleeve in the top loader but if I do I will include a high quality sleeve as well. If you want to upgrade to package shipping for $3 more I am happy to do that.
