The problem? With a lot of Ford Transit owners now upgrading their vans with deadlocks, hi-security drivers door locks & loom guards, a lot of theft can now be prevented. This is good news for the Ford Transit and Transit Custom owners as the once easy drivers door attacks & front door loom attacks are becoming less frequent. But the problem has now migrated to direct attacks on the rear barn doors of the Ford Transit Vans.

The solution! The Ford Transit (MK8) does not have any protection for the latch mechanism located in the rear barn door. Due to this, the main threat is now a hole being drilled through the rear barn door, attacking the vulnerable latch mechanism. These attacks have recently spiked and damage is being seen across the whole of the UK.

This shield is designed to give protection to the part of the latch mechanism inside the door, which is more vulnerable to attack. This product will help to prevent the thief from being able to drill through the mechanism and access your load area.

This product utilises a dual layer design, combining a stainless steel profile with an additional Anti-Drill layer on the vulnerable face. The Anti-Drill layer is extremely effective and has been tested to a great degree, it is extremely difficult to penetrate!
