When turning on the car, a loud pop could be heard from the speakers. That most early model fords with premium OEM amplified systems turn on the amp with 5 volts instead of the 12v provided by most modern aftermarket head units. Whenever the car was turned on, 12 volts overloaded the amps with initial power and in turn caused the loud pop. Once installed, this product COMPLETELY eliminates the pop with minimal installation effort if you know what your doing.
