DESCRIPTION
The Matte Black Cologne 044 Series Wall Mount Offset Back Plate Hinge is designed for mounting shower doors to walls. Constructed from solid brass, this hinge features beveled edges and radius corners. It is suitable for 3/8" to 1/2" tempered safety glass. The hinge allows for 90-degree inward and 90-degree outward swings and is self-centering when within 15 degrees of the closed position. It includes two steel pins that can be left in place for "mouse-ears" cut-outs or removed for rectangular cut-outs. When using two hinges with 3/8" glass, it supports up to 100 lbs and a 34" door width. With 1/2" glass, it supports 100 lbs and a 32" door width. Using three hinges increases capacity to 130 lbs for both glass thicknesses. The maximum clamping screw torque is 60 lbf.in. The hinge comes with gaskets and screws for installation. The matte black finish provides a consistent aesthetic for bathroom hardware.
