Offered here is this Antique Wooden Treasure Box. It is in good condition but does have some scratches and chipping to the black painted finish, particularly at the edges. The box has a hand painted design on the lid, and one of the flowers has mother of pearl inlay on the petals. I am unsure of the age of origins of the box. The box lid has an unusual wavy curved shape on the top that is quite unique. The box has a hinged lid that works smoothly, and a lock on the front, however, there is no key for the lock. The bottom of the box is warped slightly in the center, so the box does not sit flush. This also has caused there to be a small gap between the lid and the box in the center at the back. The box is 11” long, 3.25” wide, 2.25” tall, and 1.25” deep. It is a nice antique wooden treasure box. It would be a genuinely nice addition to any antique collection. It is interesting and unique.
