Ultrafine micro model chain for a variety of scale model, historical wargaming, military modelling, model railroads, wargaming and figure painting applications.  From large heavy duty chain at tiny naval and historical modelling scales, through to personal pendants and jewellery for figure painting busts.

MATERIAL: Brass

COLOUR: Matt Black. The most practical colour for most modelling purposes as the black provides a hard wearing neutral colour that is colour appropriate out of the box for many applications, easily painted over, and won't show up glaringly if your paint job gets chipped.

LINK SIZE: 1mm x 0.9mm (less than 1/16th of an inch per link)

LINKS PER INCH: 30 links per inch when pulled taut. This is equivalent to the 40 links per inch chain advertised elsewhere, as most manufacturers measure the links per inch without pulling it completely taut. Rest assured this is the finest chain available!

LENGTH: Approximately 60cm/24 inches (also available in shorter 12" lengths at a higher price per cm).

SCALE: Ultrafine model chain is applicable to a wide range of scales and uses, including model crane chain, model boat anchor chain, warhammer, scenery, dioramas and model trains. See the table below for scale translations of Ultrafine chain in all common modelling scales.
