Great Cream/Milk can with perfect raised stamping INDIANA DAIRY. Dated 7-42 with makers mark on bottom NEVERLEAK with Patent #1924247 (August 8, 1933). Each side handle is marked SOLAR. We will include a copy of patent documents with item. This is a super rare can never seen on eBay before in over 20 years. We could not locate much on an Indiana Dairy Company but there was one in South Bend Indiana at one time and one in Indiana Pennsylvania as well. This can is likely from the South Bend location as this can was found in an Indiana farm sale from a private collection. We have seen thousands of 5-10 gallon milk or cream cans over the years marked with different dairies in Indiana and beyond, but none marked "Indiana Dairy".
The can has been spray painted silver at some point and the lid did not come off, but we did not really try to remove it other than a slight tug.
