2002 JEFFERSON NICKEL AWARD WINNING DESIGN Proof & Matte FSNC-02  # 32. This is the Original Jefferson Nickel Design by Felix Schlag. He was awarded $ 1000 for the winning design. There was 390 entries. He was asked to change the reverse design of Monticello. The new design is still on the reverse of the Jefferson Nickel. There was1938 of the Silver Proof and Matte made of this design by the Full Step Nickel Club These set is # 32 of 1938 Minted. The coins are housed in original SEGS container. I received the Jefferson Full Step Nickel Club Pamphlet when i received this set. It has a lot of interesting items in it. I will include it with is set.
