Bright gold and green Felt School Letter was awarded in 1946, but apparently was never worn.

This block letter D measures 5.25" wide by 4.75" tall and is in pristine condition, with the large bright gold "D" stitched onto a green border.  The reverse side has a darker area from storage.

The letter was an estate sale find and comes in the envelope it was found in along with a mimeographed (!) certificate awarding the letter for softball participation at Dublin School in 1945 and 1946. 

This would make a cool addition atop a vintage or new throw pillow or framed as part of a gallery wall or letters collection.
