This miniature painting depicting king siting on the window waiting for the queen to come. He has flower in his hand to offer it to queen when she arrives. Paitning is done on silk cloth using natural colors. King is wearing long pearl necklaces and other precious stones jewelry. The cusped arch, introduced by a mogul king, is seen artistically surrounding the pillars. Gold leaf border around is giving lovely look to the painting. The term miniature relates first of all to technique and as an identification and only secondly to the size of a painting. The viewer must view the work at close range to obtain a full appreciation of both the image and technique. This technique is a specialized means of producing a perfect balance of color and detail in a series of thinly applied layers of colors intended to reflect light, showing a high standard of design, and mastery of the chosen media and palette. There is a feeling of preciousness associated with the art form due in part to the fact that it can usually be held in the palm of your hand and displays finely detailed work in brilliant, gem-like colors. Miniature paintings can be done on silk or cloth, canvas, on paper, thin pieces of marble, and they used to be done on thin slices of ivory before it was banned. Each of these mediums will provide the artists a certain level of refinement for details. Miniatures especially are often small paintings, but quite detailed. To get such details, the artist may even have to use a brush with a single bristle. The colors are often natural, made from various herbs or crushed and powdered precious or semi-precious stones. The mood of the painting is usually determined by the elements included in the painting, which are often based on pastimes described in the Vedic scriptures, or on the inspiration and devotion of the artist. The point is to invoke the same mood of devotion or inspiration in the viewer who simply sees or meditates on the painting and the mood therein. |

Shipping and Delivery: We Ship items both from US and India: All orders are processed within 24 hours of receiving the payment. Items shipped from India takes about 15-21 business days to reach the destination if you choose economy shipping, However if you choose expedited shipping products are delivered in 5-10 business days.
We use USPS (United States Postal Services) for shipping all products from US. First class shipping for all US buyers is free if item is located and shipped from US and priority mail and express priority mail options are also available at the time of checkout.
International customers can choose a shipping method at the time of check out for items shipped from US. Shipping cost is based on the shipping method of your choice and the weight of the package.
Combine Shipping Discount on multiple items: We combine items for shipping and discount is given on the total combine shipping charges. Pay shipping for the first item and get shipping for the second and the third item at 50% and fourth and more items at 25%. The first item will be the item with the highest shipping charges. Entire shipping order must be ordered at the same time and should have the same shipping address.
Customs and other duties: Our shipping charges do not include any custom or other duties which are collected by some countries. Customer is responsible for any custom charges or duties imposed by officials of that country. US and Australia don’t have any duties for small shipping packets of up to $200, however some European countries charge some import duties.
Return Policy: We take great pride in the quality of our products. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days. We will exchange it or refund the merchandise price, plus any applicable sales tax. We make returns easy! Please contact us if you wish to return some product and we will provide you the return address. Shipping charges are non-refundable. However, if the return is the result of our error, we will pay the original and return shipping charges. We’ll ask you to pay the postage to send back any item that doesn’t 100% delight you.
