Steel burs for jewellers are made of first quality hardened tool steel. The burs are ideal for working annealed precious metals and alloys which have a tendency to clog. They come in a tray of 6 same size pieces.

Used in conjunction with a pendant drill, hobby drill or micro motor to cut or grind away, shape or give pattern to a surface (usually metal). Each bur construction is of a number of teeth/blades (in a given shape) mounted onto a shank (usually 3/32) The shank fits into the collect/chuck of the drill, and when turned removes the surface being worked upon.
