In excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or dings. It was a bit dry, so I oiled it after I took the pictures and it is absolutely beautiful!
 
The figurine is obviously handcrafted and is beautifully carved.  On the bottom is a label and stamp detailing that this is carved from an African Railway Cross Tie and is made in South Africa.  I believe it is the previous owner that wrote on the bottom Taos, 2004.

The turtle measures approx. 10" L x 6" D x 3" H.
