This is quality dark red rock used in gas BBQ and chargrills (Archway,Falcon, Lincat, Parry, Rutland, Garland, Imperial etc). That we supply to restaurants and domestic BBQ for  a year. All box are sealed up and lava rock in a plastic bag as seen on the pictures., it is long lasting and does not actually burn away like charcoal i.e it is not a fuel. Lava rock glows like charcoal and by vapourising drips, gives food that unmistakable 'chargrilled' taste. This lava rock is fast heating and offers very good heat retention, thereby reducing energy consumption, its light weight and uniform density reduces cold spots on the grill.
