The screw ship "John of Kronstadt" was built in Glasgow in 1889. It went down in history thanks to the fact that in 1897 Admiral SO Makarov made his first Arctic voyage on it. A small steamship with a capacity of 360 hp. although it had direct fore and sides, a flat steering wheel, had a double bottom, a ballast tank, a steel hull with good riveting, four bulkheads, compound systems, two 260-speed machines, even with electric lighting. Was decommissioned in 1948.
An uncomplicated, but quite interesting model will suit all lovers of the civil fleet of the first half of the 20th century.
