Date Created: 1988. One of
a kind small teddy bear.
Hand Made in the USA ~ One-of-a-Kind ~ OOAK.
-- This bear is new, stored in cabinet, although it has never been
played with, it is from the artist's collection.
About: A lovely unique
bear. Meet my little circus bear. Made of white distressed mohair. He wears
a mauve ribbon circus ruffle and nothing else, so as to enjoy the loveliness
of his form.
He has a little leather tag, which is signed and dated. This little
sweetheart was made in Sept of 1988, an early bear as it is also numbered
no. 599 which means it was made back when Roosevelt Bears were consecutively
numbered. When you consider that well over 10,000 bears were made by the
Roosevelt Bear Co, that is an early bear.
He is made by hand, and was inspired by the little German Steiff bears of
the same size. His pattern is very similar, and if anything it is in
appreciation of the beauty and mastery of Steiff.
He has floss claws, and since he was made in 1988 he is, wow... almost 30
years old. We've enjoyed him. He is a miniature teddy bear standing just
about 4 inches tall. He has a sweet sort of sad face. Just waiting to be
cuddled, loved and adored by you.
He would make a wonderful gift for the teddy bear lover in your life, even
if that is you!!
When you consider that well over 10,000 bears were made by the Roosevelt
Bear Co, this is a truly unique bear.

BEAR. Today, the tradition lives
on at The Roosevelt Bear Co. The Roosevelt Bear Co. is dedicated to
accommodating the collector. Our original
designs enable the collector to add truly unique creations to their

original, created by artist Cathy Peterson, owner and founder of The Roosevelt

Only the highest quality
materials are used; imported German and English mohair wool furs, Australian
100% wool felts,
glass and shoe button eyes, French cotton flosses, and traditional handmade
wooden joints. Each creation
features a signed tag which displays The Roosevelt Bear Co. logo and is signed,
numbered and dated by
the artist. Our standard of quality is traditional, heirlooms which may be
passed from generation to generation.
