MENINA RAJADA SECA is a popular South American pumpkin variety originating in Brazil, where it is one of their most popular commercial varieties. The fruit is long club-shaped with a bulb at one end. Rind is smooth, medium green in colour with lighter green to tan markings but remains predominately green at maturity. Inside, the reddish-orange coloured flesh is firm, moist, sweet and tasty.  Seeds are all in the bulb end, which means the rest is all edible flesh, hence it's appeal as a commercial variety. The medium to large vines will produce fruit ranging from 3.5kg to 7kg (and possibly larger) in about 110 days.  Min. 15 SEEDS.
We test grow each variety first to ensure they will  perform in Australian conditions. Our seed is produced on our specialized seed farm, allowing us to guarantee its freshness, purity and reliability.  AS WITH ALL PUMPKINS, FRESHLY HARVESTED FRUIT SHOULD BE RESTED IN A WEATHERPROOF LOCATION FOR 2 TO 4 WEEKS BEFORE EATING. THIS ALLOWS THE FLAVOUR TO MATURE AND SWEETEN AND THEY WILL, WITHOUT DOUBT, TASTE BETTER FOR IT.
