DESCRIPTION:  Here is a large Schwarzburger Werkstatten porcelain figure of a seated pirrot holding up a rose. The figure has some hand painted features. The figure is marked to the base with the impressed fox 442 with an initial. Also stamped to the underside on the inner rim with a Volkstedt factory mark who took it over from circa 1926. Signed to the top of the base by D Charol for Dorothea Charol with the number 24 next to her signature. Probably dates to the mid 20th century.

SIZE:  The figure measures 14 3/4 inches high and 9 inches at widest point. Weighs 1.882 kg before packing.

CONDITION:  The figure is in excellent condition. No chips cracks, restoration, crazing or ware.
