The title page is dated 1935 in Roman numerals.

750 copies were privately printed in 1926.
This very rare treasure is in lovely, Highly Collectible condition!
The book appears very gently read and other than 2 previous owner inscriptions, has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT ex-libris or a BCE. The binding is tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp!
Minor general/shelf/age wear along with a few small creases, wear/marks to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text and slight bumping to the spine with partial separation visible at the top of the spine.
As mentioned before, there are 2 previous owner inscriptions/signatures/dates present. They are located on the inside front board/paper and the first blank page and were closely photographed for your consideration/inspection.
One inscription has the date of "1962" while the other one is dated "1935", the year of this books publication!
The original, First State/First Issue dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped but has substantial wear/damage.
Along with some general/shelf/age wear we will attempt to fully detail its' issues pertaining to its' condition.
Chipping, creases and numerous rips/tears resulting in some loss of paper.
Tape and the remnants of tape removed are present and visible.
Marks/stains, primarily and most egregiously affecting the spine.
The number "26" is written/circled and located on the inside front flap.
The book itself is in beautiful condition, especially considering it's age and scarcity, and while the dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped, it does have substantial damage.
We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear/age when determining the value of this very rare book.
